Valentines Day Mess Free Painting
My Daughter loves painting and, whilst I enjoy a good messy painting session when we have the time, sometimes I need an activity which is a bit less messy and much quicker to tidy away.
My go to addition to my painting activity during this time is always cling film! Sounds strange I know, but trust me, it’s great for everyone!
With Valentines day approaching we have been making some Valentines cards for our friends and family. So here is how to make a mess free Valentines card.
How to make a mess free Valentines Card
- First of I got a piece of paper (you can use card) and folded it in half to make the card.
- On the front of the card I then drew a heart.
- Next I put a few dots of paint inside the heart. I did this a few ways, once with just one colour and later I tried it with a few colours ( I used red, pink and white to stick to the Valentines theme)
- Then I covered the piece of paper with a piece of cling film.
That’s all the preparation done! Now for the fun bit. My daughter then used her fingers to spread the paint around the inside of the heart until it was all covered.
To finish off I just needed to carefully peel off the clingfilm and the outside of the card is done!
I hope you and your little ones enjoy this activity as much as we did.
