Free animal fun for kids at pets at home this Easter break

Pets at Home is hosting free pet workshops in stores across the country this spring with a range of fun and interactive activities to help keep kids entertained, while learning about responsible pet ownership at the same time.

The 30-minute My Pet Pals workshops will give children the chance to meet small animals such as guinea pigs and learn how to properly care for them in a fun and engaging way. They’ll also enjoy a range of interactive activities including making a foraging box for small furry friends.

All children taking part will receive an activity booklet to take away and a special My Pet Pals certificate for completing the interactive workshop.

Karen Heskin, Head of Pets at Pets at Home, said: “We’re excited to host these free workshops for the Easter school holidays and beyond to help inspire the next generation of pet owners. All activities have been carefully designed with our pet care advisors and vets to help educate children and promote responsible pet ownership, while providing plenty of fun to keep them entertained.”

Hosted by Pets at Home’s friendly expert pet care advisors, the workshops will be running every weekend from 2nd April – 22nd May at 1pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
