The Middlesbrough Football Club (MFC) Foundation will be bringing its ‘Boro Bus’ to Teesside Park this August, giving visitors the opportunity to hop on and enjoy some fun free activities.

On Friday 12th August, from 10am-3pm, the bus will be parked near Superdrug (located between USC and New Look) and shoppers will be invited onboard to play Xbox games and meet Middlesbrough FC mascot, Roary the Lion.

To celebrate the Commonwealth games, shoppers will also be invited to take part in a rowing and cycling challenge. In teams, they must complete the 173-mile distance from Teesside Park to Birmingham, and every person who completes a mile will be entered into a prize draw to win a pair of tickets to a Middlesbrough football game.

Members of MFC Foundation will be in attendance, raising funds for the club’s official charity, which aims to support disadvantaged people in Teesside and help to change the lives of young people in the community for the better. Visitors will also be able to find out how to access this support.
