Inspiring Learning appoints Dr of Psychology and Adventure Education,  John Allan, as new Head of Learning and Impact 

Outdoor education group, Inspiring Learning, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr John Allan an academic and qualified outdoor adventure practitioner, as Head of Learning and Impact. 

A Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Institute with 25 years’ experience in education, Dr John Allan has also worked as an external Continuous Personal Development consultant to a range of groups, including elite mountaineers, primary schools and refugee migrant populations, focusing on positive psychology and resilience building. 

Recognised by industry, private and charitable sectors as an expert in the mechanisms of behavioural change to enable adaptability, Dr John Allan’s knowledge and experience chime perfectly with Inspiring Learning’s vision to be known as an educator to enable resilience building through outdoor experiences and adventure.
