Hop on down to London Zoo this Easter for an Easter egg hunt like no other – as families visiting the conservation zoo are tasked with cracking secret codes to find the golden egg hidden somewhere amongst 36 acres of wildlife.
From Saturday 1 – Sunday 16 April animal detectives can join the search for the conservation zoo’s egg-laying animals - from Humboldt penguins and ostriches to clown fish and flamingoes - where they’ll find cunning wildlife-themed riddles and clues to test the most devoted of animal lovers.
Passing Critically Endangered Sumatran tiger cubs Zac and Crispin, Galapagos tortoises Polly, Dolly and Priscila and cheeky gibbon Jimmy on the way, the whole family will be inspired with a passion for wildlife on a truly unique and egg-citing family day out at London Zoo.
Stamping their special code cards at each spot, kids will have to un-scramble the code and decipher the top-secret location of the Golden Egg Garden - home to a magnificent golden egg.
After the Easter fun, visitors to the conservation zoo can come face-to-face with more wildlife - including new arrivals Amara the pygmy hippo and baby sloth Nova - before listening to inspiring daily zookeeper talks and burning off steam at the Animal Adventure play area.
