We like to go over and above.

At Twinkl we were founded with the mission to help those who teach and over the years we have been able to support many different communities around the world. Since 2022, we have gone over and above that, giving a little bit more, by launching our Twinkl Prize Draw and Community Collection in the UK.

The Twinkl Prize Draw and Community Collection was launched to help our customers personally and professionally to make a difference in their communities with a cash injection to help kick start their projects and get the ball rolling.

Whilst the Community Collection was initially created to help fund exciting educational projects,  it soon became clear that the need was very different, especially amidst the ongoing 2023 cost of living crisis and we continue to feel proud of the work we do in supporting our educational communities during this time, when schools are massively underfunded and education is struggling as a result.

So far the Community Collection has received over 1300 applications and we have been able to support over 700 of those schools so far. From food vouchers to books, craft supplies to washing machines, lego, sensory items, the variety is almost as great as the impact but we want to help as many people as we can.

The Twinkl Community Collection is your opportunity to secure up to £500 of support for your school. Application rounds open every half term for two weeks, winners are chosen at random and you can apply as many times as you wish.

We are really proud of the work we have done and wanted to highlight some of the wonderful people we have been able to support so far. Sheringham Woodfields School in Norfolk applied to our Twinkl Community Collection because they had concerns about pupils who were unable to learn because they were arriving at school hungry. This didn’t feel right to us and so whilst Sheringham Woodfields were not our winning school chosen at random, we sent them some Tesco vouchers anyway. Matthew, the School Business Manager got in touch to say thanks.

‘We have been down to our local store and cleared them out of cereals etc…Your support is amazing and has enabled us to keep offering our breakfast/snack offering free of charge to all those that cannot afford to pay’.

Grange Lane Infant Academy asked us for extra funding to support their arts and crafts club so that they could make things to sell at the school fair to raise funds for the school. They were extremely grateful when we donated a haul of arts and crafts supplies to help. We want to help more people like them.

Markington CE Primary & Nursery asked us for Lego so that they could grow their Lego Club to support with their ASC days and help promote social skills amongst their children. We sent them a massive box of lego which they told us ‘got lots of ooh’s’ in the office when the parcel arrived. We hope it will make a difference.

Take a look at this map which pins the support we have given since we launched in September 2022.
