Whether you have children to entertain and amuse, or you’re looking to connect with nature, there’s plenty going on at WWT, the charity for wetlands and wildlife, this spring.

WWT centres across the UK are welcoming a new family-friendly event programme featuring favourite characters from the multi-award winning pre-school TV series Bing from 23 March until 2 June, titled ‘Bing’s Nature Explorers’.

Delivered in partnership with independent creative studio Acamar Films, the programme includes an activity trail featuring Bing and his friends, engaging storytelling sessions with the Bing story books, and mini shows with Bing, Flop and a host plus character appearances          .

All activities are included in the price of admission (from £5 kids, £9 adults - check www.wwt.org.uk for exact and current prices) or free for WWT members and children under four.

Activities and times vary by WWT centre. Check your local wetland centre’s website for full details.

The future of the UK’s wetlands depend on future generations caring about them and learning more about their importance. Bing and his friends love the outdoors, and finding opportunities to play outside and discover the plants and animals around them - which is exactly what WWT is all about.

By working with Acamar Films to bring Bing’s Nature Explorers to its centres across the UK, WWT hopes to encourage little ones and their grown-ups to explore and learn more about the wetlands and the range of wildlife that relies on the habitat.

Bing’s Nature Explorers also promises families a fun and memorable day out whilst experiencing the benefits of nature connection, such as improved physical and mental health, increased confidence and self-esteem, and greater communication, creativity and emotional regulation.

Exploring nature… it’s a Bing thing!
