From travelling with your brood, to a multi-generational getaway, there are plenty of factors to think about when you book.

How far are you willing to travel? Will the weather be ok for young children or older grandparents? Is the destination and accommodation family-friendly?

Bearing this in mind, the team at Staysure Travel Insurance have rounded up eight great family-friendly holiday destinations to book this year.

As an added bonus to parents, Tenerife also shares its time zone with the UK, so there’s no need to worry about jet lag interrupting the kids' bedtime routine.

The town of Costa Adeje, on the southwestern part of the island, is home to spectacular terrains, with glorious blue waters perfect for snorkelling and paddling. It’s also home to one of the most famous water parks in the world: Siam Park.
