Zoo-normous Egg Hunt at London Zoo this Easter
Hop on down to London Zoo this Easter for an egg hunt like no other – as families visiting the conservation zoo are tasked with cracking secret codes to help the Easter bunny find eggs hidden among the Zoo’s incredible animals.
From Saturday 5 April – Monday 21 April, young animal detectives can embark on a Zoonormous Egg Hunt, following a trail of hidden eggs to celebrate some of nature’s most incredible egg-layers – from flamingos and Humboldt penguins to mysterious reptiles and even fish.
But not all eggs are created equal – only some hold the missing letters needed to crack the secret password! Kids must solve the puzzle to gain access to a mystery location, where they can make their golden pledge to wildlife and collect a tasty Easter treat.
As well as the egg hunt, visitors can enjoy egg-stra special Easter crafts, games, and photo opportunities – and take part in the ultimate Easter challenge, ‘How Many Eggs?!’, for the chance to win a chocolate egg.
After the Easter fun, families can explore the rest of the conservation zoo, home to over 8,000 amazing animals – from the Zoo’s resident Asiatic lions Bhanu, Arya and their three cubs, to playful newborn otter pups and swinging Critically Endangered young golden lion tamarins Pomelo and Clementine – all before burning off energy at the Animal Adventure play area.
An egg-ceptional value day out, the Zoonormous Egg Hunt is free with zoo entry and under 3s go free – so don’t miss out! Book now at www.londonzoo.org.
