Bodmin Holiday Park Review: Why We Keep Coming Back
If you're on the hunt for a family-friendly, dog-welcoming, hot-tub-having kind of holiday, let me point you in the direction of Bodmin Holiday Park in Cornwall.
We recently returned from our third visit (yes, third!)—and we came with my whole family. That’s 10 adults, 6 children and 3 dogs. Not many places can cater for those kind of numbers (and also cater for the dogs!), but Bodmin Holiday Park made it easy.
We stayed in a three-bedroom lodge with its own enclosed garden and hot tub. There was space for the whole family (and the dog crate!), plus comfy sofas, a large dining table, and even a proper bath and strong showers—which, let’s be honest, is not always a given in holiday parks.
- The indoor swimming pool (which you book by the hour—we often had it all to ourselves!)
- A fab play park where we could sit with a drink while the kids burned off energy
- Loads of grassy space to run, play football, and even have a go at Molkky!
- The small shop for essentials
- And a restaurant serving up really tasty pizza on our final night
The kids had a blast, the dogs were welcome, and the grown-ups actually had time to relax. And with brilliant spots like Golitha Falls and Cardinham Woods just a short drive away, there’s plenty to explore if you do feel like venturing out.
We’ve shared all our tips—including what to bring, what to expect, and a few things to watch out for—in our full review.
