The summer holidays are finally here, and after spending our first day off having a well‑earned rest, we headed out to Greendale Farm Shop to try some of the fun activities we’d been spotting all over Instagram.

First on our list: the Bounce South West inflatables—and we had SO much fun! The sessions last 90 minutes, and at just £12.95 per person, we thought this was great value for a family adventure. From my experience, the time flew by—my two were gutted when the session finished.

What’s There:

  • Adventure Zone: Large bouncy castles with two slides

  • Climbing Zone: Maze, mushroom tops to leap across, inflatables to climb or jump over, plus jumping platforms and crash pads

  • Mini bouncer zones

  • Climbing walls of different heights

  • Wrecking ball and huge inflatable drop slide (“The Big One”)

  • On-site toilets, sweet shop, and large seating area with picnic benches and hay bales

What We Thought:

The variety of activities here was so impressive. It’s easy to assume it’s just a few bouncy castles — but it turns out there’s so much more! From obstacle courses to climbing and giant slides, the venue offers something for every child’s thrill level.

The place is also well-staffed, with team members supervising each zone. We’ve been to places before where staff feel overly restrictive, but this venue had a relaxed and supportive vibe. Safety info is clearly given — both in booking emails and around the site — but it never dampens the fun.

The Big Slide Challenge:

That slide really is MASSIVE. My 8-year-old daughter was itching to try it, so I decided to try it out with her. The climb up felt endless, and once I saw the full boiler suit requirement (to avoid friction burns), I realised just how high it was!

She zoomed up full of excitement while I quietly reconsidered my life choices 😅. The view from the top was incredible. I’m proud to say I made the descent (screaming all the way 🤣), and my daughter loved it so much she went down three times in a row.

Tickets & Pricing:

  • Standard Session (90 minutes): £12.95 per person

  • Family Ticket: £49.95 for 2 adults and 2 children over age 5

  • Free entry for children aged 4 and under with a full-paying adult

  • Carers go free with valid DLA or Carer ID

  • Discounts available for Military & Blue Light Card holders

Things to Remember:

  • Socks are essential — all bouncers must wear socks. If forgotten, socks are available to buy.

  • Check age and height restrictions before visiting — I met a mum whose son needed her support, cancelling her peaceful plan for some sun and time to relax 🤣.

  • Bring water or drinks — 90 minutes of bouncing makes everyone thirsty!

Final Thoughts:

We had a fantastic morning out and are already planning our return. If you’re looking for child-friendly activities in Devon, Bounce South West at Greendale is a top choice.

It's the perfect place to burn off energy—and treat yourselves to a slice of cake or milkshake at the Greendale Farm Shop café afterwards!
