If you're looking for a relaxing, screen-free activity to enjoy with your children this summer, I can’t recommend Something Lovely Pottery enough.

We recently visited one of their pop-up workshops at Greendale Farmshop, and it was such a calm and creative way to spend time together. My 10-year-old son and 8-year-old daughter loved it — they got to choose cute animals to paint, and the whole session was so welcoming and chilled out.

The paint is non-toxic and washable (always a bonus!), and after painting, your pieces are glazed and ready to collect a couple of weeks later.

The best bit? I’m already planning our next visit — but this time with the grown-ups!
