For my son’s 10th birthday, we were on the hunt for a golf-themed family activity to celebrate his big day. Since he's crazy about golf, I did a quick search for the best indoor crazy golf courses in the UK, and that's when I stumbled upon Treetop Adventure Golf. I was excited to see they had a new venue in Bristol—perfect for a fun-filled family day out.

First Impressions & Booking Process 🏌️‍♀️💡

One thing to note: Treetop Adventure Golf has a no-booking policy. At first, I wasn’t sure about this, but they reassured me that their hardworking team would get everyone through without much delay. When we arrived, there was a queue outside, but it moved pretty quickly, and soon enough, we were inside.

The atmosphere hit us immediately—vibrant mood lighting, jungle sounds, and a fun, adventure-packed vibe that had the kids buzzing with excitement.

The Courses: Tropical Trails & Ancient Explorers 🌴🏛️

There are two 18-hole courses to choose from:

• 🌿 Tropical Trail – A jungle-themed adventure full of lush greenery and fun obstacles.
• 🗿 Ancient Explorer – A mystical course with ancient ruins and unique challenges.

Since it was a birthday celebration, we decided to do both courses. With the family discount, it cost us £64 for all four of us, which I thought was great value for more than two hours of entertainment.

Each of us got our own appropriately sized golf club and, of course, our favorite colored golf balls—always a must for kids!

Midway through, we took a break and headed to the on-site restaurant—and wow, were we impressed!

• We opted for the delicious pizzas, and the dough sticks with Nutella were so good, that we couldn’t resist ordering a second portion.
• The drinks menu had something for everyone—soft drinks, milkshakes, luxury hot chocolates, and even cocktails for the grown-ups.
• A thoughtful touch: each table had racks for golf clubs and balls, so you didn’t have to awkwardly lean them against your chair while eating.

The Bristol Treetop Adventure Golf is located inside Cabot Circus Shopping Centre, which makes it super convenient.

✔️ Easy parking – Cabot Circus has a large car park.
✔️ Perfect if you want to combine your golf session with some retail therapy or a meal out.

Extra Special Touches We Loved 💖

• Leaderboards – One for adults and one for kids! 🏆 My husband and son made it onto the leaderboard, which made them extra competitive as we played.
• Final Hole Challenge – After the 18th hole, you get a chance to win a free round of golf. Both my son and husband nailed it and won, which means we’ll definitely be back soon!
• Friendly staff – Despite the crowds (we went on a busy Saturday afternoon), the staff kept everything running smoothly.

I also really appreciated that there were people on almost every hole, so there was no pressure to rush—everyone was taking their time and enjoying themselves.
