Kids can embrace fun and festive crafting with a selection of in-store workshops available at Hobbycraft over the winter holidays
With schools starting to close for the Christmas holidays, Hobbycraft is offering up the perfect way to keep the kids entertained with two variations of festive workshops available in-store!
The Ceramic Decorating (£3) and Cracker Decorating (£10) workshops are a great opportunity for kids to showcase their creativity and get into the festive spirit as the countdown to Christmas continues.
The workshops will be running from Monday 20th December through to Christmas Eve and are available across a variety of UK Hobbycraft stores. The sessions will run for one hour and will require adult supervision.
All those who attend a session will be supervised by one of Hobbycraft’s Artisan’s (in store craft experts) who will support the kids in learning new crafts alongside creative tips and tricks.

Kids' Reindeer Cracker Decorating Workshop
Kids can enjoy making their own fun and festive crackers to brighten up the Christmas table and get everyone in the holiday spirit! Designed for creative little ones, the workshop will help them spark their curiosity as they transform each one into a reindeer Christmas character.
They’ll be offered everything they need to make up to six crackers in total, including colourful pom poms, pipe cleaners and googly eyes to bring each one to life! Once the decorating is done, the crackers can be filled with messages and gifts.
Kids' Christmas Ceramic Decorating Workshop
Kids can get creative by making their own ceramic decoration, ready to put a personal touch on the Christmas décor! Whether they want to go for bold and bright shades or embrace classic Christmas colours, the imaginative designs are completely up to them.
The session will come with a ceramic blank decoration and a variety of colourful paint and glitter to choose from. Once the decorating is done, they’ll be left with a finished design that they’ll love to show off to all the family!
Kids' Clay Disco Decoration Workshop
Little ones will love combining the tactile fun of air-drying clay with all the colours of this disco theme! The workshop allows each maker to choose from a range of hanging mache decorations available in store, ready to be transformed with beautiful gems and jewels.
Those who attend will be offered an array of crafting decorations alongside white airdrying clay, perfect for adding fun, disco feel to your Christmas or New Year’s Eve!
