PETS AT HOME OFFERS EVEN MORE ANIMAL FUN FOR KIDS THIS HALF TERM
Pet care specialist, Pets at Home, has released new animal-themed fun to help keep kids entertained this half-term, while learning about responsible pet ownership at the same time.
Launching on 11th February, the new activities will join the extensive range of free interactive content already available on the My Pet Pals educational activity hub.Designed for parents, carers and children aged 5 and over, the latest activities include a winter wildlife scavenger hunt and a make your own bird feeder tutorial, designed to get little ones outdoors and exploring nature while also learning about the world around them. There’s also lots of downloadable fun such as design-your-own gerbil and wild bird-themed masks, interactive colouring templates and games.
Budding animal enthusiasts can also learn all about the welfare needs of reptiles and fish watching educational videos, and explore the hub to get expert tips and advice from the teams at Vets4Pets and The Groom Room. There’s even the opportunity to take an exclusive ‘behind the scenes’ tour of a salon and a veterinary practice.
Karen Heskin, Head of Pets at Pets at Home, said: “We’re excited for this latest series of virtual fun to join the My Pet Pals hub, helping to inspire the next generation of pet owners. All activities have been carefully designed with our pet care advisors and vets to help educate children and help promote responsible pet ownership, while providing hours of fun to keep them entertained during the school holidays.”
