Invest Today and Power Tomorrow - Parenting App Onoco Opens Crowdfunding Round for Interested Investors

Did you know that in the first five years of life, a child’s brain develops more and at a faster rate than at any other time in their life? The early experiences of a child - from relationships with others to sensory experiences - stimulate their brain and create millions of connections which help them to navigate the world around them. It’s during this stage that parents often find themselves overwhelmed with advice and recommendations, usually provided with best intentions but rarely based on their own child’s unique needs. 

That’s where Onoco comes in.

Launched in 2020, Onoco provides peace of mind in the palm of a parent's hand by combining baby tracking, development milestones and routine planning in one app. Onoco already has over 12,000 families registered; 700,000 feeding sessions logged; 350,000 naps tracked; and has seen the number of activities logged within the app growing 40% month on month. 

The free to download app currently features a range of tools and tips for families to utilise, including:

• Naps, feeding and toilet tracking 
• Over 460 development milestones taken from the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, displayed based on the child’s age, alongside tips on how to reach those goals
• Growth charts for parents to regularly track physical growth in line with data from the World Health Organisation (WHO)
• A shared activity timeline and routine planner so all family members can see upcoming events, such as appointments and playdates
• Secure photo sharing with family members, avoiding the risks of social media 
• Child profiles where parents can upload everything that’s important to their little one, ensuring whoever is undertaking collaborative childcare understands their needs. 

More features, including the much anticipated Onoco AI - which will predict a child’s optimal next nap time based on their sleeping, eating and activity data - plus a hub of child care consultants contactable in-app are due to be released in 2022.

The company is now opening funding through Seedrs to invite external investors to join the Onoco journey and power the future of parent-tech. Funds raised during these private and public rounds will help Onoco reach even more families during their parenting journey through increased marketing, and allow the development of even more unique features such as Onoco AI.
