FUNKY PIGEON IS LAUNCHING A NATIONWIDE SEARCH FOR YOUR PHOTOS THAT SHOW BRITAIN’S BEST MOTHERLY BONDS
A nationwide campaign is seeking mums, stepmums, grandmas and anyone who plays the role of a 'Mum' and their children up and down the country to submit pictures that best represent their unique bond and relationship.
The images that best represent the bonds described will be replicated as an illustration by Funky Pigeon’s designers and placed on the front of cards for others to send next Mother’s Day.
The team at Funky Pigeon is looking for submissions from Brits that display the bond and relationship shared between themselves and either their motherly figure or child. The team are looking for submissions that include specifically:
- A chosen photo that depicts their bond
- A description of their unique bond and why the photo sums that up
Commenting on the new campaign, Kate Escott, head of product at Funky Pigeon said:
“We’re really excited to see what the British public sends us, the motherly bond is unique and can display itself in so many diverse ways; through laughing, hugging or being silly whether that’s between a mum and child, grandma and grandchild or other motherly figure that is unique to individuals.
“We know that there are people up and down the UK who will have a unique bond and we wanted to showcase them this Mother’s Day for all to see and for us to share.
“With the photos being replicated as an illustration by one of our talented designers and placed on the front of a new line of cards, we hope that there’ll be images there that help to communicate these relationships up and down the UK and that there’ll be a card out there for everyone to send this Mother’s Day which will sum up their special connection.”
To get involved, simply send your chosen photo and a description of your bond and why the photo sums it, along with the names, ages and location of those in the photo to competition@funkypigeon.online, all terms and conditions can be found here.
The new line of cards will go live in time for Mother’s Day 2024.
