3 Simple Halloween Crafts
Nothing beats being all cosy inside at this time of year, so these DIY crafts will make for a fun day or night with all the family! We have rounded up a few of our favourite Halloween crafts for kids, to get them in the spooky spirit. Monster Handprints
The ideas are endless with this monster handprint craft. All you need is some coloured card, and you can make your own little monster family!
1. Firstly, fold your card in half.
2. Outline your handprint onto the card with your wrist laying over the fold.
3. Cut out your handprint.
4. Decorate as you like! You can draw on them, or add googly eyes to make them into the monsters of your choice.
To take this one step further and turn the monsters into Halloween décor, simply attach the handprints together with glue or tape to make a spooky banner!
Apple Stamped Pumpkins
Perfect for little ones that don’t mind getting a tad messy, this apple printing pumpkin craft is perfect for getting you spooky season ready.
1. Cut the apple in half.
2. Using a paint brush, cover half of your apple in orange paint.
3. Carefully stamp the apple onto the paper.
4. Once dry, you can either draw on top of the paint to create little pumpkins or add extras such as googly eyes and pipe cleaners for the stems.
Leaf Bats
A perfect way to incorporate fun into your autumnal walks is by collecting leaves to turn into these fun DIY bats!
1. Go out on a walk and collect leaves ready to paint.
2. Paint the leaf with black paint.
3. Add details such as eyes and fangs with white paint.
4. Use scissors to cut out the ears at the top of the leaf.
