Fieldhead Primary Academy celebrates latest Ofsted report
Fieldhead Primary Academy in Birstall celebrates another positive Ofsted report, with the school being labelled as ‘welcoming and nurturing’ and everyone living out of the school’s vision of ‘a great school at the heart of the community’.
The news of the recent Ofsted inspection, which resulted in a well-deserved overall judgment of "Good," with the effectiveness of Personal Development recognised as “Outstanding” is a wonderful achievement and is a testament to the unwavering dedication and commitment of the entire school community, including pupils, parents, staff, and governors.
According to the report, pupils are ‘happy, confident and lively’ and have ‘positive attitudes towards learning.’
The assessment took place in October of this year and the report was published in December; the report can be read on the Ofsted website.
As part of the school’s efforts to maintain and improve, leaders have developed an ambitious curriculum emphasizing creating strong partnerships with parents.
Notably, the report outlined that ‘there is a very well-established approach to supporting pupils’ personal development’ and that ‘pupils are given many opportunities to become responsible and respectful citizens.’
