Babbacombe Model Village – A Miniature World of Fun
We had such a brilliant time at Babbacombe Model Village – I’m so glad we finally got round to going. From the moment we walked in, the children were off in all directions, full of excitement and not knowing where to look first!
There is just so much to see here. We walked around a few times and spotted new things each time, from tiny construction scenes and moving vehicles that our son loved, to magical fairy displays in the Mythical Kingdom which were a huge hit with our daughter. One of our favourite scenes was the spoof shopping centre, with clever nods to real brands – we particularly loved Costalot Coffee, Goggle and The Pear Shop.
The celebrity mansion had us all giggling, and we loved stopping to read the little signs packed with facts and stories. The attention to detail is incredible and gave us so much to talk about as we wandered.
The crazy golf was a big win for us too – we are mini golf mad and didn’t expect much, but it ended up being one of the best parts of the day. We loved it so much we went back and played again before we left.
This was such a fun and wholesome day out, and the whole village is kept so beautifully. If you’re planning a visit to Devon, I would definitely recommend popping this on your list.
