Parents are Wondering: where to send the kids this half-term?

With the October half-term looming closer, parents are looking for childcare options over the week-long period and Camp Beaumont is providing the answer with its entertaining and educational holiday camps. Places are still available across 42 UK locations for 3-16-year-olds. Appealing to everyone from sports lovers to creative thinkers, bespoke programmes are designed to ensure kids have as much fun as possible centred around six key outcomes - “get outdoors”, “get active”, “relax and unwind”, “get connected”, “express yourself” and “challenge yourself”.

Available to book as a Monday-Friday block or individual days with early drop-off and late pick-up options for parents, this is an opportunity not to be missed for parents and children alike!

For parents, the day camps offer flexible, affordable and reliable childcare over the holidays. Children have the chance to make new friends, and experience new activities, with packed schedules and lots of things to do.

Camps with availability include Ark Putney Academy, Beaconsfield High School, Chiswick School, Croyden High School, Reigate St Mary’s School, St Augustine’s Priory, The Holt School, UCS Sports Ground, Wellington Health & Fitness Club, Watford Grammar School, and Woodbridge High School.

Available programmes include:

  • Playtime - for little people with big ideas (3-4 years)
  • Magic - a world of fun and adventure (5-7 years)
  • Active – On your marks, get set and go, go, go (8-11 years)
  • Teen – The ultimate club style chilled out holiday (12-16 years)

Having sent their children to Camp Beaumont camps during February half term, Dr H Hosameldeen said: “Best camp experience ever. My son looks forward to the camp and when it ends, he looks forward to the next one. Staff are absolutely amazing; they are so kind and caring.”

Jof Gaughan, Executive Director of Camp Beaumont, said: “We are dedicated to giving children the best holidays possible, whilst giving parents total peace of mind that while they are at work their children are being cared for in a safe and stimulating setting. Encouraging children to develop confidence and resilience has never been more important than now, following the impact of the pandemic on the younger population. We have over 42 years' experience running fun and challenging programmes and look forward to welcoming new and returning children to our camps this October.”

Jof added: “Holiday camps give young people the chance to participate in new adventures in a different environment and engage and expand their minds. Inspiring confidence is something we are passionate about with our campers, and we do everything possible to ensure they leave with a beaming smile.”

Camp Beaumont is part of the Inspiring Learning Group, a leading education provider which is focused on developing life skills in people of all ages, with confidence building, resilience and teamwork as the core principle underpinning each activity.
