Safety First: BeSafe leading the charge with child car safety!
This National Safety week BeSafe continues to lead the charge with keeping children safe as you travel on the roads. BeSafe is especially known for being a rear facing-pioneer. In 1989, they produced their first rear-facing car seat, and at the same time told the world that children should face backwards in the car as long as possible. And today it’s a known fact that rear facing travel is five times safer than forward facing. - The Dynamic Force Absorber is a state-of-the-art, innovative headrest design. Created with a honeycomb placement of V-shaped materials, allowing for controlled bending in the inner area of the seat, whilst keeping a rigid outer frame. By bending like a trampoline, the seat allows for a perfectly controlled and very gentle cushioning of the child. This gives them the most advanced protection in the event of a side impact collision. This brand new design advances the car seat industry away from the traditional polystyrene side impact support, which most car seats are still currently made from. The new Dynamic Force Absorber is not restricted to just one impact that polystyrene will only withhold, making our seats more durable with a longer lifespan.
- SIP+ Additional Side Impact Protection - was created to combat side impact injuries and as extra support to the internal side impact protection already included within the chair. This supplementary add-on provides even greater peace of mind to parents, as it is constructed to absorb energy and reduces the load on the child’s neck and head by up to an additional 20% in the event of a collision.
- BeSafe has also just launched a brand new fabric to their collection called the Peak Mesh. This fabric is the newest innovation in fabric design for car seats for some time ensuring that the seats have a constant airflow keeping kids cool in the back of the car. With the BeSafe 3D Mesh, summer adventures have never been more comfortable. This new fabric from BeSafe (arriving Spring 2021) has 8x more airflow, giving your little one more breathability and temperature control as they travel. This fabric is available in the colour tone ‘Peak’, a mid-grey tone that reduces heat absorption and has a premium finish.
